Sorbsan Ribbon and Packing are calcium alginate wound dressings, suitable for both acute and chronic cavity wounds where a moderate to high level of exudate exists.

Sorbsan Ribbon is designed for small cavities (sinuses and fistulas), where Sorbsan Packing is thicker and more suitable for use in large wet cavity wounds (abscesses).

Designed with a non-woven structure for maximum absorption, the resulting amorphous gel conforms to the contour of the wound to draw bacteria into the dressing.
