 HandyVac™ ATS has been specially designed to provide gentle post-operative blood collection, preventing unnecessary mechanical damage to erythrocytes so that retransfusion is possible. The low vacuum bellows provide optimal suction, yet will not draw tissue into the drain. Providing continuous drainage by gravity when the bellows have fully expanded, the HandyVac™ ATS includes a 150/50/10µm triple cascade filter effectively removing unwanted impurities down to the size of 10µm.
