Dear Neighbours,
On behalf of Unomedical I would like to reassure you that our company is totally committed to improving air quality.
We have temporarily closed down our sterilisation plant in Wilmette Place, Mona Vale, as a precautionary measure and have purchased a new $400,000 Catalytic Converter from Europe which will ensure world’s best practice at our plant.
We expect the new equipment to be delivered this week and to be installed and operational within a few weeks. We will not operate our sterilizer again until the new equipment is operational.
For now our staff will continue to manufacture and pack some essential medical products (that do not require sterilization on site) for Australian hospitals.
We will also continue to work closely with all the authorities including Pittwater Council and the relevant Government Departments.
